All our teachers at LilChamps House are well-experienced and highly qualified early childhood educators that embodies the mission and core values at LilChamps House. The highly effective teaching team in LilChamps House comprises a Music and Arts Specialist, an English-speaking teacher and a Chinese Language Teacher. Our Music and Arts Specialist are qualified, experienced educators with Bachelor Degrees in Preschool Education; and our teachers minimally hold a Diploma in Early Childhood education. At LilChamps House (Wilkinson), you will be able to see how our teaching team applies warmth and creativity to help every child develop into a competent and confident learner.

Ms. Sharmilla
Designation: Principal/ Centre Director
Sharmilla has been a teacher for 30 years, with 15 years in the preschool setting, 8 years of specialization in Music and Arts and as a curriculum specialist in preschool education. She hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education with the University of Massachusetts.
She enjoys her work with children and their parents; which has always been the source of her yearning to be better equipped. She believes in positive experiences, nurtured through an engaging early childhood education; would spur young children’s interests, encourage their natural curiosities and motivate them to be life-long learners.
Her personal philosophy is S.M.I.L.E.: Smile, Motivate, Inspire, Love and Extraordinary.
Ms. Jacqueline Liau
Designation: Senior Teacher/ Teacher (Kindergarten 2)
“If teachers believe, there is nothing impossible. If children believe, there is endless possibilities.” Jacqueline was inspired by a teacher who gave her this quote.
Jacqueline believe that children are curious learners wanting to explore the world around them. It’s the process that matters and not the product when teaching children. Allowing children to problem solve by themselves while facilitating the process will promote them to be independent learners and become team players.
She holds a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She has been with us for 5 years, building a trusting and positive relationship with children and their families. She has been awarded the Promising Teacher Award in 2017.


Ms. Clarice Boo
Designation: Teacher (Kindergarten 1)
Clarice graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (Focus on Literacy) with Wheelock College. She has been working in the Early Childhood Education field for over 6 years.
As the teacher for Kindergarten 1, Clarice aims to give each child support in their social and emotional needs in every aspect of their learning, and believes that parents are partners, collaborators and advocates for their children and it is important that families come together to work towards a common goal.
Ms. Sheralyn Tan
Designation: Chinese Language Teacher (Preschool Years- K1 and K2)
Sheralyn graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree of Early Childhood and Chinese Language Education from Singapore University of Social Sciences. She has been working in the Early Childhood Industry for 10 years.
“一步一个脚印” Sheralyn is inspired by this Chinese saying which holds the meaning that every step makes a footprint. She cultivates an environment that supports the development of each child by building on their learning a step at a time. She believes that every moment counts and makes the most out of it through positive day-to-day experiences.


Ms. Jeslyn Tan
Designation: Teacher (Nursery 2)/ Music Specialist
Jeslyn shares the belief that all children are competent and self-sufficient individuals, and the environment- including parents, teachers and classroom, is key to a child’s development. She has worked with both children and teachers to become confident speakers, creative thinkers and innovative learners.
Jeslyn has been in the early childhood industry for over 10 years and holds qualification of a Degree in Music Teaching from Trinity College, London College of Music. She graduated with an Honours Degree in Early Childhood Education with the University of Wales, UK.
Ms. Effekha (Effie)
Designation: Teacher (Nursery 1)/ Arts Specialist
"There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million." This quote by Walt Streightiff inspires Effie to hold the belief in cultivating an environment that respects the curious minds of children and promote children’s exploration opportunities.
Effie has been recognized by parents and colleagues as a teacher that kickstarts our youngest Little Champs (Nursery 1 children) into a great start for their early years by incorporating arts into children’s learning.
Effie has been in the Early Childhood Industry for 15 years and graduated with a Master’s Degree of Arts in Early Childhood Education from New York University. She also holds a qualification of a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from University of California, Los Angeles.


Ms. Mei Hui
Designation: Senior Chinese Teacher (Early Years- N1 and N2)
“读万卷书不如行万里路” Mei Hui is inspired by this Chinese saying which holds the meaning that it is better to walk thousands of miles than to read thousands of books.
She believes that experiences play an important part in learning and aims to promote an engaging-filled diverse learning experience with support from her amiable and bubbly personality, which fosters quality interaction with our Little Champs.
Mei Hui has been in the Early Childhood Industry for 15 years and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Development and Education from Chaoyang University of Technology. She further pursued a Bachelor’s Degree of Early Childhood and Chinese Language Education from Singapore University of Social Sciences, and is a highly qualified and experienced Chinese teacher that children, colleagues and parents look up to.
